This week we are back on Whidbey Island.
The weather is beautiful. We are surrounded by the ocean, the sand, the deer, the mountains... sigh.
We are studying dinosaurs. There are so many great free resources on Netflix and Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqa1-dQWJBA. We spend a few hours in the morning doing "school" then every afternoon on the beach. Although there have never been any dinosaur fossils found in Washington state, we are still searching for dinosaur tracks and fossils. A child's mind and creativity are endless given the right surroundings and freedom to play.
