SORRY

Sorry for all the complaining!  I'm thankful that Eric and I have the ability to have children.  I realize my last blog is insensitive to couples with fertility issues.

Coma inducing medicines and unattractive nanny

I really truly want this pregnancy to continue into the safe zone of 37 weeks, but I am sooo ready to be done!  I'm really never comfortable.  I miss sleeping!  I miss playing with Nathan and Eric!  I miss making things and accomplishing projects around the house.  I miss working out!  I miss regular sized underwear! I have nothing but the utmost respect for all the ladies out there who have more than one child.  My friends with 4 or more are amazing!!!  This afternoon, after putting Nathan down for a nap, and trying to take a nap myself (I gave up on myself after an hour) I sent Eric a page that said, "Please bring home coma inducing medicines and a large unattractive live-in nanny!"

Happy Father's Day!

Nathan got to spend some quality time with his daddy this Sunday. I felt truly happy watching them swing and play in the hammock.

29 weeks Pregnant

So I've made it to 29 weeks. My belly feels huge! My back feels terrible, although I'm seeing a physical therapist now 2x per week and it is helping some. We did 3D ultrasound this weekend when all the parents were in town and Zach is measuring close to 31 weeks. The technican calculated that he currently weighs 2 lbs 15 oz.

WISH I WAS THREE

We had Nathan's big birthday bash Saturday afternoon. We partied in the backyard with all our friends. The kids all got along well and the parents enjoyed watching their kids play and visiting with other adults. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated Nathan with us! We feel truly blessed to have such good friends and family. Here are some highlights!

Turning 3

Today is Nathan's birthday! I can't believe how quickly life passes! I made him a shirt that I think sums it all up. It says... 17 days in the NICU $89,000, Overnight hospital stay $3,000, Dental surgery $600, Adenoid removal $500 TURNING 3... Priceless!

Bedtime Songs

Tonight after reading our two books and brushing our teeth, Nathan was ready for his two bedtime songs.  "Twinkle, twinkle"... no, "Rock-a-bye Baby"... no!  Tonight's bedtime song request were "The Star Spangled Banner" and "Kung-fu Fighting".

Funny sense of humor!

So we are watching Nemo for about the hundredth time, Nathan is watching intently when he turns to me and says, "I want to eat fish tonight!"
