Back to Gratitude...

Going to try to maintain this simple blog and include all the day to day things in our lives.  There's no way I can try to catch up since the last post a year ago. So we will just start fresh.  

We got a puppy! This is Sadie.  She is 8 months old now.  3 times bigger than she was when we brought her home, but still small enough to fit through the back fence.

For the Love of the ARts

I wish for a lot of things. I regret a few. I regret not pursuing my love of art when I was younger. I hope that the last 3 years at the Wichita Center for the Arts has taught Nathan to use art as an escape and expression of himself. I hope that if he finds a deep desire later in life to be artistic he has the confidence and self-freedom to do so. Thanks to Ms. Crystal and Ms. Shannon for loving my boy.

We went out for a spontaneous sail last week with our family friends the Williams. It was so perfect! So relaxing and Fun! Can't wait to go again.

I took the boys outside this morning for five minutes and got all these great Spring pictures. I love my camera.

An afternoon on the boat

Eric was off yesterday so we headed to the lake to show the boys the new boat. Eric went out early to get her ready for a sail. We quickly decided that 25-35 MPH winds were way too strong to even attempt to sail. So we just hung out. Then went to the lake playground. We had a great time.
