First Sale

I sold this today. 8 x 10 Glossy print. Someone bought it as a gift for her friend. Yay!!!

Art Class

I had my first art class today. I almost hyperventilated while I was waiting for it to start watching all the other students enter the room. Today, the instructor wanted to get a feel of where we were all at so he gave us a black watercolor paint and a paintbrush. Then he handed over a black and white photo he selected out of a book. Go!

During the break I had to take a moment in the restroom to remind myself not to look at anyone else's artwork.

It was fun! And as long as I keep my eyes on my own paper I think I can remain calm and breath.

Nathan had his first wall climbing class today at the YMCA. He enjoyed it very much. He even cheered me on to reach the top.

Organize

I finally have all my supplies organized and ready to use. Previously I was working on the floor in a giant messy pile of papers and paint and trash. I now have a suitable workspace. I built this desk from a $15 door I found in the basement of a antique shop. The glass topper I ordered is being delivered today.
